5 WAYS TO SPEED UP YOUR IMMIGRATION PROCESS (NEWCOMERS & PERMANENT RESIDENT IN USA)
It’s very frustrating when you file a case with USCIS and you have been waiting for months or even years without receiving a decision. I am sure you don’t know that there are ways to speed up your immigration process and that’s what you’re going to learn in this post. I will share with you 5 ways to get your case approved faster. Little disclaimer: This is not legal advice and you must contact an immigration attorney for legal advice.
Number One: Submit correct documents & fees
Make sure that you provide every form, documents, supporting evidence USCIS wants as well as the correct fee. You can go over the checklist provided by USCIS to make sure you have everything before sending your package or submit your application if you’re filing online.
Number Two: Expedite your case
Applicants who file their case with USCIS and face hardship or emergency situations can expedite their case as long as they have enough evidence to support the request. To expedite your case you have to send USCIS a letter with your case number stating the reason why you want to expedite your case. You can check USCIS website to learn more about how to expedite your case.
Number Three: RFE (Request For Evidence)
If you receive a RFE (Request For Evidence) notice from USCIS, make sure to send them all documents as soon as possible to avoid delay or rejection of your case. Sometimes USCIS can notice something in your application and will request additional documents in order to continue the process.
Number Four: Service Request
Let’s say your case is out of the regular processing time, you can contact USCIS and make a service request which will speed up your immigration process. In case USCIS still doesn’t process your case after you make the request, you can hire an immigration lawyer to assist you if you can afford one.
Number Five: Hire someone who is competent
Make sure you hire someone who is competent to help you with your immigration application. There are a lot of fake immigration consultants out there who will mess up your case, cause you more headaches and delay your process. If you have money to hire an attorney, immigration lawyer or consultant, please do your homework.
I hope some of these tips will help you speed up your USCIS or NVC immigration process little faster. If you like the post please share it with someone you think might benefit from it.
