VISITING YOUR HOME COUNTRY AFTER ASYLUM IS GRANTED IN USA

Visiting your home country after asylum is granted to you? If you are someone who is looking for that information then you come to the right place.

Asylum is a granted to anybody who fears persecution in his or her home country based on religion or politics. If you apply for asylum in the US and it is granted to you then you have the US government protection until the situation in your country is back to normal. More often while on asylum status, many people want to travel back to their home country to visit family and friends. It’s a good idea to the fact that they missed their family so much and are so eager to see them again. But on the eyes of the US government, it’s like your are abandoning your asylum status if you decide to return to your home country when there is still a problem.

I personally don’t think it’s a good idea to make that move because it will jeopardize your asylum status and I think it will make sense to move back to your home country whether to visit or stay definitely after you become a US citizen.
